Before you dial

Four things that make the call short

None of this is required. If you are standing in water, skip all of it and call, because the first thing we will do is help you get the water off.

The symptom, in plain words. No water, water where it should not be, a drain that will not clear, no hot water. You do not need to name the cause.

Well or city. Whether the property is on city water and sewer or on a private well and septic decides which contractor and which parts. It is the single most useful thing you can tell us.

Where you are. A town is enough in Boise. Further out, a road and a landmark beats a mapping pin, and in winter it helps to know whether the drive is plowed.

The whole list. If three things need doing, say all three. One visit covering several jobs costs dramatically less than several call-outs, and that only works if we know before the truck is loaded.

If water is running right now

Call first and talk later. We will walk you through shutting off the stop tap while the job is being dispatched, because stopping the water is worth more than any information you could give us.

What the line covers

Who should call this number

Emergencies

No water, a burst or leaking line, sewage backing up, or no heat reaching the pipes. Any hour.

Scheduled repairs

Heaters, drains, fixtures, hydrants, pressure problems and the jobs that have been waiting.

Seasonal work

Autumn winterizing and blowouts, spring restarts, freeze reviews on part-year property.

Property managers

Access by lockbox, gate code or caretaker, with photographs of what was found.

Light commercial

Shops, cafes and small premises, scheduled around trading hours where the fault allows.

Plumbing contractors

Independent licensed plumbers interested in taking dispatched work can ask on the same line.

Two honest caveats

What this line cannot do

We cannot quote a price. The contractor diagnoses on site and prices the work, and anyone giving you a figure before seeing the problem is guessing. We can tell you what a job usually involves and what is likely to drive the cost.

We also cannot help with everything. Septic tanks, pumping and drain fields belong to a septic contractor. Field irrigation, pivots and mainlines belong to an irrigation contractor. Where your problem sits on the other side of that boundary, you will be told so rather than sold a visit that cannot fix it.

Describe it and you will get a straight answer on urgency.

Call whenever it happens

Two in the afternoon or two in the morning, the same line is answered.
