Privacy policy

This policy explains what Idaho Plumbing Dispatch collects when you call the dispatch line or use this website, why we collect it, and who it is shared with. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

The short version

We are a referral service. When you call, we take the details of your plumbing problem and pass them to an independent contractor who can attend. Calls to our line are routed through a call tracking system, which records the number you called from and basic call data. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising pixels or analytics on this website.

No forms, no accounts, no email list

This website has no contact form, no login, no newsletter and no checkout. The only way to reach us is by telephone, which means the information we hold about you is limited to what you tell us on a call.

Information we collect

When you call the dispatch line. Our telephone provider uses call tracking numbers, so we receive the telephone number you called from, the date and time of the call, its duration, and which page or listing the number was displayed on. During the call we take the details needed to dispatch the job: your name, the service address or a description of its location, contact details you give us, and a description of the plumbing problem. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and dispatch accuracy; where recording is in use you will be told at the start of the call.

When you browse this website. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical request data, including IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request. This is ordinary server logging used for security and to keep the site running. We do not run Google Analytics or any similar analytics product on this site, and we do not place advertising or social media pixels.

Cookies. This website sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. Your browser may store the site in its normal cache, and our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie in response to suspicious traffic. There is nothing here to opt into, which is why you are not being shown a consent banner.

Why we collect it

  • To understand your plumbing problem well enough to dispatch the right contractor.
  • To pass your job details to that contractor so they can contact you and attend.
  • To follow up on a dispatched job where there is a question about whether it was attended.
  • To understand which communities and which listings our calls come from, so coverage matches demand.
  • To keep the website and telephone line secure and working.

Who your information is shared with

The contractor we dispatch. This is the main one. To get a plumber to your property we pass your name, contact number, service address and the description of the problem to an independent plumbing contractor. Once they have it, they are an independent business handling your information under their own practices, and your agreement for the work is with them rather than with us.

Service providers we use to operate. Our telephone and call tracking provider, and our website host. They process data on our behalf in order to provide those services.

Where the law requires it. We will disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety or to investigate fraud or misuse of the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Call records and job details are kept only as long as they are useful for dispatching and resolving work, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of a dispute about a job. Server logs are retained on our host's standard schedule, which is short. When information is no longer needed for those purposes it is deleted.

Your choices

You can decline to give us any detail you would rather not, though there is a practical limit: without an address and a contact number we cannot get a plumber to you. If you do not want your call routed through a tracking number, tell us at the start of the call and we will note it.

Depending on where you live you may have rights to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To make any of those requests, call (833) 472-2088 and say what you are asking for. Because this is a telephone-only service, we may need to verify your identity by reference to the call the request relates to.

Children

This service is intended for property owners and occupiers arranging plumbing work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Job details are held by our telephone and dispatch providers under their own security arrangements. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise; what we can say is that we hold very little about you and we hold it briefly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page will change with it. Continuing to call the dispatch line after that point means the revised policy applies.

Contacting us about privacy

This is a call-only service, so privacy questions and requests go to the same number as everything else: (833) 472-2088. Say that your call is about a privacy request and it will be handled as one.
