Terms of service
These terms cover your use of this website and of the telephone referral service it advertises. The central point is simple enough to state here: we connect you with an independent plumbing contractor, and that contractor, not us, performs and stands behind the work.
Last updated: 20 September 2026
1. What this service is
Idaho Plumbing Dispatch is a referral and dispatch service. We take details of your plumbing problem by telephone and refer the job to an independent licensed plumbing contractor operating in your area. We are not a plumbing contractor, we do not employ the plumbers who attend, and we do not perform plumbing work of any kind.
2. Your agreement is with the contractor
When a contractor accepts the referral, any contract for the work is formed between you and that contractor. They are responsible for diagnosing the problem, quoting the work, holding the necessary licences and insurance, performing the work to the applicable standard, and honouring any guarantee or warranty they offer. We are not a party to that agreement.
Before work begins
Ask the attending contractor for their Idaho licence details and proof of insurance, and get the scope and price in writing. A legitimate contractor will provide all three without hesitation.
3. Pricing
We do not set, control or receive the prices charged for plumbing work. Rates, call-out minimums, after-hours premiums, parts pricing and any travel component are the contractor's own. Any figure discussed on the dispatch line is general information about what a type of job usually involves, never a quote. Only the attending contractor can quote, and only after diagnosis.
4. No charge for the referral
There is no fee to you for calling the dispatch line or for being referred to a contractor. You are under no obligation to accept a quote, and declining one costs you nothing.
5. Availability and response times
We aim to answer the line at any hour and to dispatch emergencies immediately, but we cannot guarantee that a contractor will be available in a given area at a given time, nor guarantee a specific arrival time. Weather, road conditions, distance and demand all affect what is possible, particularly in rural areas and in winter. Any arrival window given is an estimate made in good faith.
6. Information you give us
You agree that the information you provide about the property, the problem and access is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Dispatch decisions depend on it: telling us a property is on city water when it is on a well, or omitting that access requires a gate code, generally results in a wasted visit that the contractor may charge for.
7. Emergencies and immediate risk
This service is not an emergency service in the sense of fire, gas or medical response. If you smell gas, if there is a risk of electrocution from water reaching wiring, or if anyone is in danger, call the relevant emergency service or your utility first. Plumbing dispatch comes second to that.
8. Website content
The guidance published on this website, including the area and service pages, is general information about how plumbing tends to behave in Idaho conditions. It is not advice about your specific property and should not be relied on as a substitute for a contractor's diagnosis. Nothing here is a warranty about what any particular repair will cost or involve.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the dispatch line or this website to make hoax or abusive calls, to harass contractors or dispatch staff, to attempt to disrupt the service, or to scrape, copy or republish the content of this site for commercial purposes. We may decline to provide the service to anyone doing so.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Idaho law, our liability in connection with this service is limited to the referral itself. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, delays, damage, loss or costs arising from the work performed by any contractor referred through this service, nor for any indirect or consequential loss. Claims relating to plumbing work should be directed to the contractor who carried it out and, where relevant, to their insurer or to the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Disputes with a contractor
If work referred through this service goes wrong, raise it with the contractor first, in writing, with the written scope and invoice to hand. If that does not resolve it, you can also tell us on the dispatch line: we cannot adjudicate the dispute or compel a remedy, but a contractor generating complaints will stop receiving referrals.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed, and continued use of the service after that date means the revised terms apply.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, and any dispute relating to them is subject to the jurisdiction of the Idaho courts.
14. Contact
This is a call-only service. Questions about these terms go to (833) 472-2088, the same line as everything else.
Any question about the service or a referral.
